Dr. Palak Oza received her Bachelor of Science degree from The College of William and Mary, where she double majored in Chemistry and Religious Studies. She then went on to receive her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, formerly known as the Medical College of Virginia in 2009.

She specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology and completed her OB/GYN residency at Lenox Hill Hospital-North Shore LIJ in NYC in 2013.

She returned to her native NJ for private practice after completing residency. She has been privileged to work at many different hospitals over the course of the past 12 years both as a private practice physician as well as a hospital physician in NJ, NY and Montana. She has seen and treated a diverse variety of general obstetric and gynecological issues ranging from routine delivery to VBAC to laparoscopic surgery to PCOS and menopause. She has treated patients ranging from age 10 to age 96 and is privileged to provide care to a diverse population of women.

In creating Hudson River OBGYN, Dr. Oza is committed to providing exceptional OB/GYN care to the women in our community for years to come.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, hot yoga (Breathing Dragon Hot Yoga), classical Indian dance, cooking and spending time with her fur babies. She speaks Gujarati, Hindi as well as conversational Spanish.
